The study evaluated the implementation of policies and programs to prevent of HIV/AIDS at a workplace. To this end, AC “Socioconsulting”, jointly with the State Department for Supervision over Labor Law Compliance at the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, has interviewed 30 heads of large enterprises of state and private sector. Special attention was paid to the analysis of policies to combat stigma and discrimination against HIV-positive employees, as well as the study of prevention, control and support programs for HIV-positive employees. Based on these results, the national performance indicator for HIV/AIDS workplace programs was calculated, and later included to the first national report on Ukraine’s implementation of the Declaration of Commitment on HIV/AIDS.
