The potential and targets of HIV-service organizations for awareness activities for draftees and servicemen’s families

This study analyzed the situation regarding the level of knowledge, attitudes, behavior and information needs related to HIV/AIDS/STI youth of premilitary age and families living in military camps. The capacity and willingness of the national and regional NGOs to implement educational projects on STI/HIV/AIDS for members of the target groups was also evaluated, as well as optimal models of outreach activities were determined.
