This publication is one of the first contributions to the creation of national monitoring system on following the patients’ rights in Ukraine. The methodology and technology for monitoring patients’ rights is represented by the authors, as well as the system of indicators to quantitatively measure possible violations of patients’ rights is proposed. The edition also contains the results of a pilot study that allowed to test the developed methodology and to analyze the state of patients’ rights respect in Ukraine, as well as to make certain improvements in the system of indicators and to make recommendations for the implementation of public monitoring.
