The researchers focused their attention on the major challenges hindering the efficiency of patronage service provision. They also studied the possible organizational reserves to improve the working conditions of the caseworkers (nurses). The empirical baseline for the study were the results of FGDs with the heads of patronage service regional branches, and the results of structured interviews (face to face) with patients of patronage service (450 people), and caseworkers survey (520 people).
